ADCC National Championship in Kovin: Spectacular Fights and a Clash of Old and New Champions!

Yesterday, the second national submission fighting championship took place at the sports hall in Kovin! Once again, the ADCC competition pushed the boundaries of this martial art in Serbia, with over 150 competitors from all parts of the country, in all age categories, from the youngest to the masters. This sports spectacle provided fans of submission fighting with a series of top-notch bouts that showcased the strength, technique, and exceptional determination of local fighters.

Nikola Pesut - Sovereign Champion, "Sandyak" Still Dominates; Radinovic the Guillotine Master!

Nikola Pesut, from the "Car Dusan Silni" club in Novi Sad, once again confirmed his dominance on the Serbian scene. His technical superiority and fighting spirit set him apart from the competition, and his performances were the highlight of the day. In his first match, Pesut defeated his opponent with an impressive "arm triangle," while in the final, he excelled with a "guillotine" finish, securing the title of national champion. His uninterrupted winning streak and excellent knowledge of fighting techniques make him one of the most dangerous competitors in Serbia.

The "Sandzak Top Team" from Novi Pazar, known for its exceptional fighters, also made its mark this year. Aladin Ibrovic and Rifat Prusevic, fighters from this club, retained their titles in the professional categories up to 76kg and 93kg, respectively, confirming their club's status as one of the most dominant on the scene.

The highlight of the day was the meeting of a teacher and student in the final of the over 100kg category, where Jusuf Hajrovic, the leader of the "Sandzak Top Team," faced his student Dzevad Baltic. This time, Baltic surpassed his mentor and triumphed, retaining the national champion title and proving his skill in the professional category.

Aleksa Radinovic from the Banjica club "ViN" became the national champion in the Intermediate category up to 100kg. His signature move at this competition was the "guillotine," with which he defeated opponents one by one, demonstrating his exceptional technical preparation and determination.

In the professional category up to 91kg, the title was taken by Dusan Janjic from the "BJJ CAMINHO" club, while in the Intermediate category up to 76kg, the champion was Aleksa Kuzmancev from the "Car Dusan Silni" club. Their performances confirmed their top-notch quality and technique, setting high standards for future competitors.

The next major ADCC competition, scheduled for November 2nd, will bring Southeast Europe to what participants themselves call the friendliest country - Serbia. A large number of competitors from all parts of Southeast Europe are expected to compete in this prestigious submission fighting tournament.

ADCC competitions in Serbia have been organized since 2019 and have since attracted many prominent fighters from Serbia and around the world, making this country a central hub for the development and popularization of this sport in the region.
